We usually associate global warming with issues such as energy, industry, pollution, and fossil fuels, but we forget one of the most problematic sectors: farming. This one generates 10% of greenhouse gas emissions, livestock generates 14.5% and together with other land uses are responsible for a quarter of all greenhouse gas emissions, which is causing global warming reach levels never seen before.

However, regenerative agriculture practices can reduce carbon emissions, since, instead of producing gases, they extract carbon from the atmosphere and deposit it in the soil where food is produced. Regenerative agriculture not only recovers carbon from the atmosphere but also uses it to restore crop soils to remain productive.
